We are representing our client a leading information security company in search for **Test Engineer
**Responsibilities**
- As a member of the product validation team, you will be closely aligned with their product design team to ensure that their software and/or hardware products meet their intended specifications in terms of functionality, performance, and quality.
- Collaborating with the product design team to define the parameters for product testing.
- Creating comprehensive test plans and developing test cases, including performance testing.
- Designing and implementing test programs to validate product functionality.
- Identifying system requirements for internal test setups, if applicable.
- Analysing and troubleshooting product failures to identify root causes.
- Streamlining testing procedures to improve efficiency.
- Conducting quality assurance testing to ensure product reliability.
- Building and executing automated tests using relevant tools.
- Creating clear and concise test procedures for technicians to follow.
- Training technicians on test procedures and providing technical support when needed.
- Ensuring all tests and procedures adhere to industry and company standards.
- Generating comprehensive test reports for management and/or customers.
- Collaborating with external vendors for specialized tests such as EMI/EMC and environmental testing.

**Requirement**
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, software engineering, computer science or computing engineering or its equivalent.
- Experience as a test engineer, focusing on **hardware and/or software **testing.**:

- Familiarity with testing tools and the ability to develop test programs.
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming.
- Experience working with Linux operating systems.
- Strong knowledge of engineering and testing procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- A passion for bug detection and a keen eye for identifying potential issues.
- Willingness to perform repetitive tests when necessary.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to think creatively to overcome challenges.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Proficient technical writing skills.
- Knowledge and experience in product development and/or software development life cycles, as well as familiarity with test automation tools is advantageous.
