**About the role**:
As **Accounting Associate** you would be a part of the Nansen team. As such, your contributions to the team will have a **big impact**.

You should ideally be located in Singapore, though our work is 100% online.

The position is **full-time**.

**What will you be doing?**:
As Accounting Associate, you will own the preparation and oversight of the company's financial reports, as well as providing management with analyses to support the decision-making process. This autonomous role will allow you to demonstrate your strong financial control skills and give you room to grow upwards. You will:

- Prepare, examine, and analyze all accounting records, ledgers, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy and completeness
- Work closely with external accountants and tax agents to ensure timely submission of quarterly management and tax reporting
- Liaise with external auditors for year-end statutory audits
- Prepare corporate and GST quarterly tax returns
- Ensure accurate recording and categorisation of revenues and expenses
- Process all outgoing payments to vendors
- Monitor revenue collection process from customers
- Handling of AP & AR transactions

**Are you the right person for this role?**:

- [ ] 2+ years experience in an Accounting Associate job scope or similar role
- [ ] Thorough knowledge of accounting regulations and procedure (preferably IFRS)
- [ ] Hands-on experience with accounting software
- [ ] great **written communication skills** in English
- [ ] great **stakeholder management** skills
- [ ] an eye for **detail**, but is pragmatic and able to **get things done fast**:

- [ ] an ability to **self-organize** in a remote-first work environment
