**QA Engineer**
- CIX is looking for a QA Engineer for testing of front and back -end systems within our various platforms. They will work closely with our outsourced vendors to ensure outstanding quality of product, extending to support inhouse efforts as they develop.
- The QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring a secure & quality experience across all our platforms and that deliverables meet the functional and non-functional requirements. Initially they will be focussing more on black/grey box type testing, as necessitated with vendor delivered platforms. The individual will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Produce and execute test plans and test cases, document results, log clear and reproducible bug reports and perform exploratory testing
- Identify and automate manual testing wherever possible
- Follow our quality assurance and testing strategy including test automation, performance testing, and compatibility testing
- Work with our Platforms and Ecosystems team to verify and validate user stories, providing input regarding requirements
- Ensure timely testing coverage according to project schedules
- Assist in problem resolution with our vendors, reporting on this progress to the wider project team
- Manage risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality
- Work closely with the release team to coordinate on release activities
- Coordinate and work directly with our vendors, product owners and BAs to resolve problems and ensure successful releases
- Work with our vendors to follow the release process based on best practices
- Maintain a release repository and update key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists
- Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Release Go/No-Go reviews
- Co-ordinate the Go-Live/release activities including the execution of the deployment plans and checklists

**Key Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field ideally
- Minimum 2 years of previous quality assurance and product release experience
- Strong understanding of QA processes and flows
- Good understanding and experience in software industry, focused on software release and QA
- Excellent interpersonal communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working directly with global and local teams both inhouse and vendors
- Experience with QA Automation tools such as Functionize
- Good knowledge of the software development lifecycle
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
