The Sales Internship Manager is responsible for coaching and overseeing the development of new SMB/Channel/SDR sales representatives and Customer Success Managers. This position will perform hands-on operational work as necessary to train and/or coach new sales reps and CSMs, respond to immediate or severe areas of improvement that require correction, or otherwise demonstrate appropriate skills and behaviors to be exhibited by the sales reps.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide genuine input regarding the firing of newly hired sales reps or CSMs to which the organization gives significant weight
- Ensure sales reps and CSMs comply with organization's policies and procedures, and coach them when any violations occur
- Create coaching plans for those sales reps or CSMs who need correction
- Coach, roleplay, and drill with sales reps or CSMs
- Help sales reps or CSMs identify their areas of improvement and help them address those areas while strengthening their sales skills overall
- Monitor sales reps statistics for any red flags that could be affecting their sales quotas and help correct those behaviors
- Inspect pipelines and Salesforce accounts for any errors in handling customers and coach them to improve their administrative duties
- Determine whether newly hired sales reps are the right fit for the organization through internship observations; and coordinate with HR on any sales reps or CSMs who are not a good fit for the organization
- Coordinate with leadership, People Operations and Coaches on individuals
**Minimum** Requirements**:
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- A minimum of 1 year of proven work experience in sales, sales management and/or quality control in a sales-related role
- Experience with Gmail and Google Docs
- Experience with MS Office (Word and Excel)
- Experience with web browsers (Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc.)
- Strong verbal and written communications
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Excellent listening skills
- Ability to find the root cause of why an employee may be struggling
- Strong statistical analysis skills
- Strong skills in working with people
- Strong skills in developing plans and drills to help employees
