Job responsibilities:

- Conduct architecture Assessment of current and target states, align architecture solution with tactical and strategic objectives and to provide recommendations to close the gaps
- Define a comprehensive transition plan and delivery roadmap to deliver positive results to the business
- Be a trusted architect adviser to the management team and give direction / guidance to the teams in solution design and implementation. Knowledge of technology trends and provide thought leadership to the business
- Presents roadmaps and architecture landscapes to senior stakeholders.
- Evaluate technologies for both private and public clouds; design and implement target cloud architecture model, roadmap, patterns, best practices, etc.
- Develop on-premises infrastructure architecture for server, storage, network, and security.
- Perform quality review of infrastructure design and deliverables, leading work sessions and deliverable presentations with business stakeholders
- Manages architecture and technology governance committee agenda for solution approvals
- Create a digital working experience for Information Management staff and hold regular Technology Talks Engagements to share best of breed technologies in the market
- Provide recommendations on emerging technology to chief architect and senior management.
- Communicate effectively, both verbal and written to various level among stakeholders across the organization.
- Mitigate risk by following established procedures, spot key errors and demonstrate strong ethical behaviour.
- Mentoring and coaching technology architect resources.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 8 years of experience in developing technology roadmap, reference architecture, reusable design pattern, architecture framework, technical whitepaper within IT industry.
- Experience in DevOps, Agile methodologies, containers, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and SRE.
- Minimum JLPT N1 Certification, a degree in Japanese university or equivalent is required to interpret and communicate requirements to the Tokyo Head Office, where primary business communication is in Japanese and work in partnership with the senior management.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or with equivalent experience
- Experience in banking industry is preferred
- Proven experiences architecting services integrations using API Management solution
- Experience in designing a complex infrastructure and Integration architecture covering Web server, Application server, DB server, Messaging software, ESB, SOA, J2EE and.Net
- Solid understanding of virtualization, cloud computing technologies, and best practises
- Professional experience in defining, designing, and developing scalable products and services, on multi-platform / hybrid clouds environments such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, including Red Hat OpenStack Platform, Red Hat Virtualization, VMware vSphere. A strong understanding in IaaS, PaaS, SaaS.
- Experience in designing End User Computing (EUC); Familiarity with common enterprise services (Directory Services, VDI, Desktop as a Service, MS Intune, MDM, MAM, MCEM, etc.).
- A good understanding of Infrastructure and security architecture and non-functional aspects like Performance, Scalability, Reliability, Availability etc
- Experience in design and implementation of modern data warehouse and Data Lake/Big Data Technology
- experience with different types of database technologies, and understanding of the technology landscape including open source, commercial on-premises, and cloud-based tools
- Professional experience with Microsoft AD, MS Team. Advanced experience with MS Clustering, MS SQL High Availability is a plus.
- Demonstrated knowledge of x86 Servers and Blades, Storage & Backup Infrastructure
- Demonstrated knowledge in networking such as MPLS, SD-WAN, SASE, VPN, DNS, load balancing, firewall, etc.
- Ability to understand organizational strategy and to design information systems to deliver business strategy
- Knowledge about TOGAF and practical implementation experience is preferred.
- Effective and adaptable communication skills suited to varying audiences.
- Strong situational analysis, problem solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to relay information clearly and concisely in both written and verbal communications
