Job Responsibilities

o Responsible for the APAC financial planning and analysis (FP&A) functions

o Developing efficiencies and process improvements within the team’s work streams;

o Partnering with departmental leaders to determine and support financial analysis needs;

o Developing, coordinating, and reporting budgets and forecasts for individual departments;

o Managing financial aspects of projects by determining key drivers, driving the right set of analyses and presenting the conclusions;

o Monthly reporting and variance analysis, including backlogs and bookships;

o Product margins and performance (also Business Unit performance);

o Provide senior management with budgets and periodic forecasts, including bookings, sales, margins, SG&A, EBITDA and working capital;

o Operating performance for the upcoming month, quarter and year;

o Customer margins and performance;

o Regional margins and performance;

o Take an active role in the broader APAC Finance team; helping smooth implementation of - and adherence to - new finance requirements, systems and processes;

o Run annual budgets and forecasts, including the roll-out of regular re-forecasting cycles and processes;

o Prepare ad-hoc management financial reports as required;

o Prepare management reporting packs in a timely and clear fashion, with risks and opportunities readily identified; and

o Support APAC Finance Director on ad-hoc tasks as required.

Key Requirements:
Accounting or finance degree preferred

10+ years of post-qualification experience with more than 5 years in FP&A function

Desire to get into the details and drive financial excellence

Strong presentation skills to present to high level stakeholders

CA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent

FP&A experience gained within established MNCs

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Excellent time management skills and deadline driven

Strong knowledge of planning and performance processes, including annual budget, monthly forecast and periodic business reviews

Team orientated, a “can do” attitude and flexible approach

Superior analysis skills. Enthusiasm for solving problems and working collaboratively

Work experience with mid-size to large companies with high growth preferred

Independent/Self-starter with high attention to detail and assertiveness

Strong working knowledge of accounting, controlling and finance operations. Knowledge of SAP (CRS) and Power BI desirable
