**Who are we Looking For**:
As a product manager on the payments team, you will be responsible for scaling the product at Aurionpro Payments to serve the growing needs of our e-commerce merchant base. In this role you will collaborate closely with your product designer, engineers, analyst, product marketer, and other cross-functional team members within the organization to ensure that our digital payment products amaze and delight our customers. This is an exciting and key role in the fast-growing APSL organization and reports directly to the Chief Product Officer in Hong Kong.

You should have an owner’s mindset, act as a self-starter and get things across the finish line. You are intellectually honest and recognize that you can only solve problems when you’re willing to call out and collaborate with others.

Specific responsibilities include:

- Empower merchants large and small to get paid by Indian consumers who are already using different forms of digital payment such as cards, UPI, bank transfers and wallets
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes for feature development, leading prioritization accordingly; assess tradeoffs and determine expected ROI
- Lead execution of product development activities, ensuring successful implementation and launch of payments integrations & enhancements
- Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
- Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
- Develop product pricing and positioning strategies
- Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding

**Responsibilities**
- Maintaining the team backlog

The Product Owner will have to maintain a list of stories (development tasks) with clear descriptions that are ready to be consumed by the development team. The Product Owner will keep the list prioritized based on business and or technical requirements, as well as our current roadmap.
- Sprint planning

The Product Owner along with the technical leads will prepare the list of stories to complete for the upcoming sprint, based on the current business priorities and team capacity.
- Story elaboration
- Story acceptance

The Product Owner will, during every sprint, verify that what the software developers build matches what is required by each user story, and give feedback if changes are required. This ensures that what our software developers build matches our business requirements and overall vision.
- Contribute to the company vision and roadmap

The Product Owner will not only collect requirements from the different stakeholders, they will also proactively propose solutions and new features that can increase revenue and improve client retention.
- Oversee development during sprints

During each sprint, the Product Owner will assist software developers in clarifying any business requirements with regards to new features being developed.
- Act as a liaison between the development team and various stakeholders

The Product Owner will be the main interface between the development team and the rest of the company, as well as clients.

**Requirements**:

- 3 or more years of experience as a Product Manager in fintech (preferably payment) product and solution development
- Proven work experience in product management roles
- Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
- Experience reasoning from first principles and making decisions with mínimal data
- Proven ability to develop product and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
- Strong problem solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job
- Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Must be able to travel 30-40% of the time
- Technical background, with experience. Machine learning experience a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
