**Missions and Responsibilities**

**Summary of the position**:
This role is responsible for defining and executing the Industrial Merchant product strategy and roadmap, defining pricing policies, assessing product profitability and planning and deployment of new products,developing and executing a sustainable and long term Product Strategy & Roadmap for Bulk On Site (BOS) in order to maximise product profitability.

**Responsibilities**:

- Preparation of the Product Roadmap, linking with the overall marketing / business plan
- Analysing the marketplace with design on market strategies based on the product portfolio
- Manage Positioning and Branding for the product range
- Perform capacity planning, assess actual and potential plant loading in coordination with Sourcing teams.
- Manage product compliance in cooperation with Supply Chain, Quality & Sourcing teams.
- Definition on product strategy and possible new production capacities, integrating market needs with sourcing structure including analyzing national and SAM business requirements, inclusive of coordination for BOS, launch specific product programs. Identify new product requirements for individual countries/markets in coordination with the respective stakeholders.
- Coordinate investment needs for product roadmap/ strategy implementation and transfer to the relevant stakeholder.
- Ensure pricing policy compliance within specified standards.Review and analyse product portfolio in countries.
- Establish, standardise and optimise product referentials per product portfolio and manage new referential creations/control of referential management in the geography.
- Establish a framework to assess product profitability or contribution to Profits per product and to track contract implementation. Regular assessment of product profitability per country and support country's action plan for product profitability improvement.
- Evaluate product demand from market analysis survey and trend per country and customer segment.
- Analysis of cost structure per product, profitability evolution, market trends per product category, customer process and technical innovation.
- Foresee resource requirements and allocation. Coordinate needs with country management.
- Coach and support the affiliates staff. Manage the product management teams effectively to deliver the objectives and priorities set per country.
- Define communication plan and drive project management of Product Programs for each country.

**Competencies and Profile**
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering or related fields
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in sales and marketing environment; developing product marketing and strategies.
- Proficient in statistics,data mining and analytical methods
- Ability to analyse and predict the market trends.
- Good project management, organizational and communication skills
- Strong management experience and working with a team.
- This role will be remunerated based on the domestic package.
