The Assistant Shop Manager supports the Shop Manager in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring food quality and safety standards are met, and managing staff. This role involves assisting in menu planning, inventory management, and training kitchen staff to create a positive and efficient kitchen environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Operational Support**:Assist the Kitchen Manager in daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- **Staff Management**:Supervise kitchen staff, provide training, and ensure proper staffing levels during shifts.
- **Quality Control**:Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain high standards; conduct regular taste tests and inspections.
- **Inventory Management**:Help manage inventory, order supplies, and minimize waste to ensure cost control.
- **Menu Planning**:Collaborate with the Kitchen Manager to develop and update menus based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- **Health and Safety Compliance**:Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations; conduct regular kitchen inspections.
- **Customer Interaction**:Address customer concerns and feedback regarding food quality and service.
