**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Program Development**:Design, implement, and manage a diverse range of sports and recreational programs and events to cater to the interests and needs of members of all ages and skill levels.
- **Facility Management**:Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of all sports and recreational facilities, ensuring they are safe, clean, and well-maintained.
- **Staff Management**:Recruit, train, and supervise a team of fitness instructors, coaches, and support staff. Foster a positive and motivated work environment.
- **Member Engagement**:Develop and maintain strong relationships with members, addressing their feedback and suggestions. Conduct regular surveys and meetings to gauge member satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
- **Budget Management**:Prepare and manage the sports and recreation department budget. Monitor expenses and revenue, ensuring financial targets are met.
- **Marketing and Promotion**:Collaborate with the marketing team to promote sports and recreational activities through various channels, including social media, newsletters, and club events.
- **Health and Safety Compliance**:Ensure all activities and facilities comply with local health and safety regulations. Implement and enforce safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- **Event Coordination**:Plan and execute special events, tournaments, and competitions. Coordinate with external vendors and sponsors as needed.
- **Reporting**:Provide regular reports to General Manager and Subcommittee on program performance, member participation, and financial status. Use data and analytics to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Recreation, Physical Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sports and recreation management, preferably within a country club or similar environment.
- Proven track record of developing and managing successful sports and recreational programs.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Financial acumen and experience in budget management.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to sports and recreation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with recreation management software. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
