Vice President, Finance

Our client is a privately held investment firm with operations across Asia and is currently seeking a Vice President of Finance, APAC to join their team. This role reports to the Group Finance Director and leads a lean team.
Some of the key responsibilities will include:
- Develop and manage all Finance functions including consolidation, statutory financial, tax reporting in APAC, in accordance with accounting standards and Finance guidelines in a timely and accurate manner.
- Establish strategies and procedures aligned with short and long-term business objectives of firm
- Support investment and financial analysis by providing financial advisory for cross-functional projects
- Annual budgeting and forecasting and monitoring budget vs actual for analysis.
- Assist Finance Director in supervising internal and external audit processes and ensure compliance of business workflow and process
- Identify internal control deficiencies and streamline business workflow
- Review and prepare NAV, reconciliation, and internal & external reports for stakeholders
- Capital calls, review waterfall calculation and monitor cash activity of funds
To be eligible for this role you will require:
- Degree in business finance, economics and/or accounting
- Minimum 12 years of relevant work experience in leadership roles
- Experience in Big 4 and regional private equity/real estate/investment funds preferred
- Familiar with IFRS Accounting and good understanding of US GAAP, Accounting standards in Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore.
- Knowledge of US tax filings, FATCA and CRS compliance
