Informatica Administrator

**Responsibilities Include**
- Installation and configuration of Informatica Power Center and other related products.
- Build Informatica Data Exchange/Data Transformation (DX/DT) and Data Quality environments for various POCs or setting up the environments if required
- Perform Informatica Power Center System Administration and Power Exchange System Administration including Team Based Development administration
- Experience with setting up access roles and privileges, code page setups, appropriate ETL migration activities and scheduling jobs using Control-M or AutoSys or 3rd party tools
- Enable secured and encrypted communication with Informatica and databases
- Liaise with Systems Administrators, UNIX, Network and DBAs, scheduling teams and implementing software patches and upgrades
- Handle day to day Informatica components migration tasks
- Review of Informatica ETL design documents and working closely with development to ensure correct standards are followed
- Creating new repositories from scratch, backup and restore
- Root Cause analysis for ETL job failures/Data issues raised by business
- End of Life system verification and upgrades. Perform installation and regression testing and approve the overall upgrade or setup
- Identifying and documenting version and scenario specific Installation Pre-requisites and system capacity requirements

**Requirement**
- Bachelor’s degree with minimum 5 - 7 year's work experience in Informatica PowerCenter design and development
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Informatica Administration
- Minimum2-4 years of experience in Oracle administration
- Hands-on experience on Informatica tools
- Knowledge of Batch Scripts, Shell scripts and familiarity with VBScripts
- Good knowledge of data/dimension modelling and concepts (star model, snow flake)
