**Position Summary**

Work in a mechanical engineering team to manage and create all 3D CAD models, 2D drawings and BOM on semi-conductor packaging equipment. The documentation will primarily be created using CAD and PLM software, and the scope of the job will span all elements of the project life cycle including gathering project requirements, preliminary and final design, procurement and prototype build.

**Responsibility**
- To generate 3D CAD, details drawings and BOM for mechanical parts, assemblies and modules, from sketches, concepts or mark-ups provided by mechanical engineers.
- To generate 3D CAD for electrical parts as typically used in mechanical design models, including PCBs, connectors, cable routings, etc.
- To create and submit ECO package.
- To attend technical discussion, design review, etc.
- To assist engineering staff for day-to-day project functions as needed, including contacting the suppliers, parts ordering, prototype hand-on build etc.

**Qualifications**:

- Strong understanding of mechanical design fundamentals and practices.
- Minimum 5 years mechanical designer experience.
- Proficiency in CAD and PLM software, prefer NX (version 7.5 and above) and Teamcenter (version 10 and above)
- Hand-on experience on mechanical assemble and testing.
- Semi-conductor packaging equipment experience is preferred.
- Strong communications and organization skills.
- Self-starter and ability to take direction and act independently.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: $3,000.00 - $3,500.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
