**Responsibilities**
- Provide L2 and L3 support to Database incidents and changes.
- Will be the Subject Matter Expert for Database operations.
- Responsible for monitoring of service levels, proactive maintenance, capacity planning and the operations metrics of the Database tower, including regular reporting.
- Work with the selected 3rd party operations vendor for the successful operations of the infrastructure.
- Assist in the setup of new Database infrastructure according to the Technology Infrastructure Platforms Roadmap and help in the efforts to migrate existing solutions to our new Data Centers.
- Ensure that the Database solutions make the best use of the technology platforms to meet the business requirements. In addition to the non-functional requirements, the solutions are delivered at optimal cost using the appropriate technology platforms.

**Job Requirements
- Minimum 8 years’ hands-on SME experience in Database technologies, mainly on Oracle Database or MSSQL.
- Proficient and Subject Matter Expertise in Oracle Database Technologies, along with extensive operational experience in MS SQL, MongoDB, and Postgres.
- Knowledge of LAN, WAN and Data Centre network architectures, enterprise design and industry standards relevant to data communications / networking and computing.
- Extensive familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and DevOps principles, technologies, platforms, and tools.
- Good understanding of Infrastructure tools within the Data Centre environment
- Experience in dealing with vendors on technology and services.
- Experience with Day 2 infrastructure operations
