**Job Summary**:
The incumbent will use their significant experience to lead, inspire and manage a team to oversee finance and administration activity within the JAPAC region. Partnering with the business and providing assistance as and when needed to drive growth in revenue and margin

**Essential Functions**:

- Responsible for the finance and administration activity for JAPAC region.
- Responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual accounting and reporting of the Region to ensure accurate and timely completion of activities, including meeting all reporting deadlines.
- Provide business analysis to support decision making by the VP of JAPAC, Director of Asia Pacific Operations, local country managers, regional distribution managers, and the corporate management team.
- Ensure full compliance with all U. S. GAAP, local accounting rules, and Corporate Governance requirements.
- Ensure proper functioning of the internal control system.
- Responsible for development, deployment, and maintenance of key performance indicators (KPI) to support a culture of performance, and commitment towards continuous improvement.
- Responsible for the annual strategic planning (mid-term planning), business planning, and budgeting processes for the region.
- Responsible for the monthly forecasting process for the Executive Staff Meetings and SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning) meetings.
- Provide technical expertise and advice on complex accounting issues to help operational managers develop revenue and expense budgets, understand their financial reports and manage their financial responsibilities.
- Ensure clean local statutory reporting and audits at subsidiaries.
- Actively support TOZA (The One ZOLL Advantage (a cross-divisional focus)) utilizing a shared-services model, wherever possible.
- Support and participate in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR), Commercial Review Meetings, and other business meetings at various locations throughout the year.
- Responsible for cash forecasting and cash management, including DSO management.

**Required/ Preferred Education and Experience**:

- University Degree in Accounting or Equivalent
- 10 years or more relevant experience
- Certified Public Accountant / Certified Management Accountant, preferred
- Oracle / Hyperion HFM / Hyperion Planning experience, preferred
- Multi-currency experience
- IFRS knowledge, preferred
- Experience in dealing with financial responsibility for a commercial operation, Matrixed Organization experience and IFRS knowledge would be an advantage
