The Neuroscience Laboratory at the National Neuroscience Institute (TTSH Campus) is seeking a highly motivated** Research Technologist**to join our team. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to dementia research by investigating key molecular mechanisms underlying neurodegenerative diseases.

**Role & Responsibilities**:

- Conducting independent research projects and assisting in ongoing studies
- Collecting and processing human biological samples (blood) for DNA/RNA extraction
- Maintaining research databases and performing molecular assays (e.g. Sanger sequencing and ELISA)
- Overseeing day-to-day lab operations, including procurement and adherence to safety protocols
- Collaborating with research teams to ensure smooth laboratory function

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- Diploma in Life Sciences, Biomedical Science, Biotechnology or its equivalent
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a relevant field. Fresh grad is welcomed too.
- Highly motivated and able to work independently
- Meticulous in handling patient samples, record keeping and possess good organizational skills
- Able to communicate effectively with all levels, proactive and team player
