DevOps Engineer

This position within the Software Business Organization (SBO) is focused on supporting, maintaining and improving the next generation automation pipeline for Broadcom's software development teams.

DevOps engineer with a focus on build automation and data driven processes

Real world experience with operating build pipelines and related tooling as well as a deep understanding of DevOps principles

Experience with Jenkins, management and extensions is a must with other CI platforms and tools as a bonus (Git, Artifactory)

Ability to adapt and embrace change

Experience with implementing ephemeral jenkins environments at scale

Team player with working knowledge of automation technologies

Ability to effectively communicate technical issues and resolve problems at all levels.

Ability to gather and aggregate requirements from many groups and distill them into a generic form

Cloud background

Working knowledge of GCP preferred

Familiar with containerization and kubernetes (networking and storage experience preferred)

Automation focused thinker with skills to script/develop/debug tool integrations
