- Manager/ Assistant Manager (Partnership Lab) [1-year contract]
About National Youth Council (NYC) - Creating Opportunities for All Youth to Be Heard, Be Empowered, Be the Change

The Partnership Lab team engages, builds relationships and curates opportunities for partnerships with organisations, government agencies and youths to develop future-ready youths and youths who are committed to Singapore.

**What you will be working on**
- As a Manager/ Assistant Manager, you will be involved in the following portfolio:
Partnerships with Youth Sector Organisations
- Identify new ways to grow and form partnerships to open doors to fresh opportunities
- Identify and support organisations to deliver impactful programmes that meet youth needs
- Leverage on grants and identify innovative approaches to build and strengthen partnerships with organisations in support of NYC’s focus areas
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to establish, maintain and develop good working relationships with organisations with the objective of supporting youth development/ engagement
- Develop and implement partners engagement and support sessions
- Plan, manage and administer relevant grants such as the National Youth Fund (NYF), Singapore-ASEAN Youth Fund (SAYF) and Youth Expedition Project (YEP) grant under NYC and ensure proper governance and accounting

Partnerships with Youths
- Administer grants to youth ground-up groups and ensure proper governance and accounting by assessing their closure reports and statements of accounts
- Coordinate and organise the monthly Young ChangeMakers (YCM) Open Mics
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to form partnerships in offering youths more ground-up action opportunities
- Support youth-led ground-up projects by connecting them to relevant networks, amplification channels, mentors, grants and potential partners
- Support the execution of the Youth Action Challenge Season 5
- Manage and journey with teams from the past Youth Action Challenge seasons

- Other requirements:

- Good communication, writing, critical thinking and project management skills
- Good stakeholder management and interpersonal/ networking/ customer service skills
- Able to synthesise and analyse information well
- Meticulous and good with numbers
- Able to multi-task and prioritise work, and adapt in a dynamic environment
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Knowledge of and interest in the youth sector would be advantageous
- Experience in starting ground-up projects and working with partners would be advantageous
- Available to work on weekends and weekday evenings if required (off in-lieu will be provided)
