The Premier Partner Operations team develops solutions for high-profile partners and creators by designing and implementing scaled systems to address issues impacting their experiences across the suite of Meta products. Within Premier Partner Operations, the Protection team protects premier partners and ensures safe connections with their followers. We do so by understanding the landscape, identifying and analyzing problems and trends, and executing strategic solutions. Premier Partner Protection Operations mission is to provide world-class protection and support to our constituents by leveraging deep insights and automation. We partner closely with several cross-functional teams, including product, policy, partnerships, other ops/integrity teams to ensure high quality and safe experiences for our partners. As an Automation Specialist, you will be building and deploying scaled solutions to mitigate emerging threats and drive operational improvements. Working together with project managers and cross-functional teams to provide world-class protection and support to our constituents by leveraging deep insights and automation.

**Automation Specialist, Premier Partner Protection Responsibilities**:

- Develop a deep understanding of issues facing our constituents and how it affects Meta and our communities
- Independently analyze and interpret data in order to devise hypotheses on how fraudulent and other nefarious activity is proliferating and communicate these effectively with stakeholders
- Able to clearly communicate to technical/non technical audiences
- Implement effective solutions to eliminate abusive behaviors on platform, mitigating real-world harm
- Contribute to Meta's codebase by developing automation, models and workflows to combat abusive behaviour on the platform
- Drive operational improvements to improve the team's efficiency through automation
- Establish and influence short and long-term goals that will advance the organization’s impact through data and analytics
- Proactively investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve sensitive escalations faced by our constituents set
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders including but not limited to Policy, Comms, Escalations, Spam and other operations teams to solve problems at scale.
- Please note that some weekend and holiday work will be required on a shift basis

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, Engineering, Economics or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience manipulating large data sets in SQL or equivalent.
- Experience in at least one scripting language (Python, PHP, Haskell), statistical software (R, SAS), or data visualization tool (Tableau).
- 5+ years of work experience in an abuse, investigations, consulting, analytics or online operations environment.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience working with global teams
- Experience Trust & Safety, Risk Operations or Investigations
- Experience working in a fast-paced and adversarial space.
- Experience in deploying large scale solutions
