Radiographer

Perform general radiography to produce good quality diagnostic images while providing excellent patient care.

**Job Scope**
- Provide prompt imaging services while ensuring safety, good service and care to patients.
- Perform general radiography (X-Ray) in a clinic setting.
- Good housekeeping of the procedure rooms and work areas & proper care of the equipments.
- Implement quality assurance programmes and ensure compliance, as well as initiate system improvement.
- Adhere to safe work practices especially in radiation safety and infection control.
- Handle patients’ complaints and queries within the department / section promptly and effectively.
- Ensure smooth operations within his/her section of specialised area and ensure proper usage and care of equipment of the section at all times.
- Supervise and guide Healthcare Assistants within section of responsibility in the day-to-day operations.
- Conduct training and coaching for staff in relation to radiography and update on current departmental imaging protocols.
- Ensure performance indicators of the section like waiting time for appointments and imaging services, patient turnaround time per examination are within set targets.
- Assist in the evaluation and purchase of equipment and accessories.
- Perform other administrative duties or ad-hoc quality departmental projects/activities as assigned by the Management.

**Requirements**:

- Relevant qualifications recognized by MOH and AHPC
- Radiographers must already be registered with AHPC (Restricted or Full License)
- Effective communication with Foreign Workers
- Able to handle a high volume of clients and patients
- Knowledge on diagnostic radiography equipment and its various systems

**Salary**: $4,500.00 - $5,000.00 per month

- Local Polytechnic Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Radiography: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification:
