Manage and ensure smooth day-to-day operations of workshop.
Responsible for Key Result Areas like Financial Performance, Customers Satisfaction, Internal Business Processes and Learning & Growth of Staff under direct supervision.
1. Support the Division Head in managing the workshop operations and ensure all KPIs are met.
2. Lead thorough technical investigation on vehicles involved in incidents and submit report findings
3. Analyse data not limiting to material consumption and turnaround time to improve overall workshop operations and productivity
4. Work with Supplies & Logistics department to control inventory availability and cost
5. Achieve cost savings for the division through product development, material control, operation processes and innovation initiatives
6. Update engineering policies, safety guidelines and standards to ensure compliance and relevance
7. Ensure all workshops are kept abreast of the latest procedural and technical developments and conduct training as needed
8. Manage the daily operations of the Vehicle Recovery team to ensure high reliability and responsivity
9. Prepare statistics and reports to review performance and recommend procedural enhancements for discussion
**Job Requirements**
1. Minimum Education - Degree holder in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic Engineering or its equivalent with at least 5 years in the operation environment preferably from automotive industry.
2. Knowledge and experience in Risk and Quality Management and Fleet management.
3. Experience in data analytics and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI
4. Financial savvy with strong P&L and budgeting knowledge
5. Highly self-motivated with good business acumen
6. Able to lead by example, analytical, and innovative
7. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
