**About You**:
We're seeking a proactive Finance Manager to drive our financial strategy at Portcast. You will be our go-to finance expert, responsible for setting up financial operations and directly reporting to the CEO while also taking on additional responsibilities as needed to support our evolving needs.

**Your Role**:

- Lead our financial strategy, aligning it with our business objectives and growth plans.
- Oversee and manage profit and loss (P&L), revenue forecasting, and expense control.
- Collaborate closely with function heads to allocate budgets and support strategic initiatives.
- Drive financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and financial best practices.
- Provide strategic financial counsel to the team and leadership.
- Establish financial models and business cases to aid in the decision-making process.
- Prepare reports for business cases and corporate development activities.
- Manage and maintain corporate forecasts to support company initiatives.
- Prepare reports and handle financial due diligence.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts to optimize financial processes and operational efficiency.

**To thrive in this role, you must have**:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- At least 8+ years of progressive work experience in finance, with minimum 3 yrs in finance leadership roles.
- Experience in a product-based startup, preferably in B2B SaaS.
- Experience in taking ownership of the finance function.
- Experience in establishing financial processes and frameworks from the ground up.
- Proven track record of developing and executing financial models & strategies in an early stage startup environment.
- Proven experience in KPI Analysis & Decision Making per Function, P&L, FP&A, Budgeting & Forecasting, Finance documentation & processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
- Comfortable working independently and thrives in a lean & small, fast-paced team environment.
- Self-starter with the ability to take ownership of the finance function and process, capable of working autonomously and driving results without constant oversight.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments.
