Within SCOR P&C, **SCOR Business Solutions (SBS)**is the central unit dedicated to insuring the business risks faced by large corporate companies. It has been serving its customers for more than 45 years and has maintained a continuous presence in the market by upholding a strong technical culture supported by SCOR’s best-in-class financial strength rating. Business activity is structured around four regions (NA, LATAM, EMEA, APAC) through various lines of business (e.g. Property, Construction, Energy, Casualty/Financial Lines, etc.). Clients in each region are served by specialized underwriters who rely on SCOR's technical expertise and client knowledge.

**Job Summary**
- Key role is to maintain and develop a profitable portfolio of APAC Property & Power accounts through his/her relationships with brokers and through new sources, within the guidelines specified at group level that will contribute to the achievement of the underwriting plan
- Contribute to the overall results of the Group by sound technical and profitable underwriting
- Develop SCOR’s market share and leadership position in Property & Power segment
- Coordinate all marketing activities in APAC, representing overall SCOR P&C and SBS’s interest in the market, especially on the assigned Market/Country
- Enhance Group image in the market by efficient and innovative support of client needsActively review new submissions and determine risk quality and pricing terms in line with underwriting guidelines, pricing tools and market conditions

**Key duties and responsibilities**
- Generate new offers and promote the Group by pro-active marketing in accordance with the defined strategy and risk appetite.
- Receive, select and evaluate offers of Property/Power business from various sources by independently analysing all information including risk engineering reports, calculate ratings, negotiate conditions of the contracts. Respond to all offers in a timely manner.
- Contribute and share technical knowledge in which the jobholder is working.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, cedents and brokers.
- Establish market network in the assigned Market/Country to enhance our local franchise.
- Execute growth strategies including Key account management, and Cross Sell Initiatives. Support other SCOR lines by cross selling (Casualty, Alternative Solutions, Construction ).
- Research, develop and report on new areas of profitable growth, such as hi-tech, new energies, renewables
- Maintain an accurate database of risks accepted in various IT systems used by SBS, e.g. UP, Forewriter, Omega II, SalesForce.
- Produce reports of various formats for reporting purposes as required.
- Contribute to the claims settlement in conjunction with the claims department.
- Support colleagues within APAC Property & Power Team to manage peak periods in the respective countries.Collaborate positively with other departments and colleagues within SBS and elsewhere throughout all Underwriting Centres (Singapore, London, Paris,..)

**Special Projects**
- Engage in global underwriting projects and/or transversal initiatives, e.g. new energy initiative.

**Required Experience**
- At least 3 years underwriting experience in Property LOB in the insurance/reinsurance market
- Tertiary education, preferably from engineering discipline along with Insurance Qualifications of CII, SCI or ANZIFF will be advantageous
- Working experience in international/multinational insurer/reinsurer
- Proven underwriting skills for complex property program of large corporates (wordings, quotations)
- Industrial working experience and/or technical knowledge in in industr
