These are prone to cyberattacks due to various limitations in computation, bandwidth, and advances in Quantum computing.
This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced environment of a high-growth cybersecurity startup. The intern will work closely with our leadership team to contribute to various strategic initiatives and assist in driving the company's growth trajectory. We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) Intern to join our commercial team. This internship will provide valuable hands-on experience in lead generation, sales prospecting, and communication skills within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
**What You’ll Do**
- Assist in identifying and qualifying potential leads through research and outreach.
- Determine prospect needs, challenges, and decision-making authority.
- Liaison with partners and customers
- Communicate the benefits of cybersecurity solutions effectively.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop targeted prospecting strategies.
- Utilize CRM software to manage and track lead interactions and progress.
- Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Do activity tracking and reporting
**Who You Are**
- Currently enrolled (or immediate graduate) in or recently graduated from a program in Marketing, Business, Communications, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- A strong interest in technology and cybersecurity, with a willingness to stay informed of the latest trends and developments.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly motivated with a strong desire to learn and succeed in sales.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Hubspot) is a plus.
- Previous experience in sales, marketing, or customer service is advantageous but not required.
- Passion for cybersecurity and willingness to learn.
- You possess startup DNA, which means you are a hustler and thrive in establishing structure amidst ambiguity
