Business Development Strategy: Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute business development strategies that align with the client’s goals and objectives. Identify potential market segments, conduct market research, and analyze clients to identify opportunities for growth.
Lead Generation and Conversion: Proactively generate leads through various channels such as referrals, cold calling, networking, and digital marketing. Follow up on leads, assess customer needs, and provide suitable life insurance solutions to meet their requirements. Convert leads into loyal customers by building trust and maintaining long-term relationships.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, including individual policyholders, corporate clients, and channel partners such as brokers or agents. Understand their evolving needs, provide personalized service, and recommend appropriate products or policy upgrades to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
Product Knowledge and Sales Presentations: Acquire a comprehensive understanding of the company's life insurance products, features, and benefits. Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients, showcasing the value proposition and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
Market Expansion and Collaboration: Identify opportunities for expansion into new markets, geographic regions, or customer segments. Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns, promotional materials, and advertising strategies to increase brand visibility and attract potential customers.
Sales Performance Analysis: Track and analyze sales performance metrics, including conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, revenue growth, and profitability. Identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations to optimize sales strategies and enhance overall business performance.
Training and Development: Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance your knowledge of the life insurance industry, sales techniques, and product updates. Stay up to date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments that may impact the business.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including underwriters, actuaries, claims specialists, and customer service representatives, to ensure smooth policy issuance, claims processing, and overall customer satisfaction.
**Requirements**:
- Min Diploma equivalent/ degree (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Goal-oriented mindset with a passion for sales and business development.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with the life insurance industry, products, and regulatory frameworks is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office, and other relevant business tools.
