Delta Air Lines is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Global Sales Solutions (GSS) Associate to support our top-tier B2B customers. This role is integral to Delta’s sales strategy, enhancing relationships with key corporate and agency partners through exceptional service and strategic support.
- Evaluate and resolve complex B2B customer inquiries at the first point of contact, including issues related to waivers, inventory access, fares, seat selection, and refunds.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by negotiating effective business solutions aligned with Delta’s sales strategy.
- Provide expert consultation to travel agency partners on Delta and partner airline policies, fare rules, ticketing procedures, and available resources.
- Collaborate closely with joint venture (JV) partners and internal departments (e.g., Airport Operations, In-Flight Services, Revenue Management) to ensure seamless service delivery
- Support the Sales team by attending joint sales calls, participating in customer events, and delivering agency training as needed
- Monitor market trends and share relevant insights with the GSS and Sales teams to inform strategic initiatives
- Partner with Revenue Management to negotiate group fares and secure seat inventory
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of Delta’s business principles and uphold the company’s “Rules of the Road” standards
- Maintain flexibility to work various shifts, including extended hours, weekends, and holidays, in support of a 24/7 global operation
