MANAGER / DEPUTY MANAGER, LICENSING
[What you will be working on]
The Rail Licensing Division is looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join the team and take on the challenge of managing and administering rail operators’ licences, Codes of Practice (CPs), commercial activities guidelines, and monitoring rail performance, in support of the development and regulation of Singapore’s Rapid Transit Systems (RTS) network.
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for:
(a) Managing and administering Rapid Transit Systems (RTS) regulatory requirements together with relevant stakeholders;
(b) Establishing and executing the process for the issuance of licence modifications;
(c) Reviewing Codes of Practice and related regulatory documents;
(d) Monitoring station operations, reviewing and facilitating the development of environmental sustainable initiatives, and other activities in the RTS network; and
(e) Coordinating and reviewing RTS feedback referred to the division.
[What we are looking for]
- Tertiary qualification in any discipline
- Excellent writing, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently and multi-task in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in using MS Office (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Self-motivation and resourcefulness to produce innovative solutions
- Relevant working experience in Licensing and Policy will be an advantage
