Join our crew Founded in 2018, Alpha Marine was started to encourage everyone to embark on their own sailing adventure. In Singapore, we are currently best known for hosting sailcations and short trips on our yachts. But without the restrictions of the pandemic, we would usually be sailing around the world from Thailand to Japan.

We have 4 fabulous Yachts and a small but close knit team of 25 employees strong You are welcome to join our family

We are looking for Yacht Captain that have leadership qualities, ability to work, respect and communicate with rotating crew on board. Captains have to have a good attitude such as punctuality, friendly and understanding. In conditions of stress, the captain is able to remain calm and provide assistance to those in need. A great understanding and alignment of our values and goals would be a better fit for yourself and us.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- To ensure the vessel under your command is in a safe and seaworthy condition and ready for charter.
- To ensure all documentations and licensing are updated relevant to the operations.
- Be responsible for the maintenance and appearance of the vessel, this includes responsibility for cleanliness and pumping out of the boats.
- Be responsible for the safety and conduct of guests during the trip and to report irregularities to management.
- Secure vessels safely to the wharf, jetty or mooring and ensure the vessel is left in a secure state with all windows, doors, vents closed and follow proper procedures for engine room shutdown and domestic systems i.e. water pumps, gas bottles are to be turned off.
- Be of a pleasant and helpful disposition and in doing so ensure an atmosphere of warm hospitality on board and a happy workplace
- Be a role model for the crew assigned to you
- Other ad-hoc jobs

**Requirements and Qualifications**:

- PPCDL/ Steersman/ Helmsman license
