**Position Overview**
- Design and implement components of the algorithmic execution platform and associated strategies.
- Optimize existing strategies to enhance overall performance.
- Develop and support automated testing processes for the platform.
- Provide secondary-level support for the algorithmic execution system.
- Be available for occasional early morning or holiday support shifts.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience building low-latency, real-time, and scalable trading systems, including a minimum of 3 years in algorithmic strategies, automated execution, and electronic trading.
- Strong familiarity with FIX protocol, market data handling, and order management systems. Understanding of equities trading in Asian markets and quantitative analytics is desirable.
- Proficient in core Java development; experience with Java-based GUI frameworks is an advantage.
- Skilled in Python, Perl, shell scripting, SQL, and NoSQL databases, with a strong command of the Linux environment.
- Knowledge of data infrastructure, in-memory data grids, data science tools, machine learning, and AI is a plus.
- Self-driven and adaptable, with excellent analytical thinking and a track record of delivering solutions.
- Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
- Collaborative team player who can also operate independently with mínimal oversight.
