Job Description:
The Primary Tasks of this positions are:
Assist in the establishment of VCC and other fund like Investment Structures such as 13O and 13U

Prepare Financial Statements for Hong Kong, Singapore and Offshore Companies (BVI, Cayman, Etc) Small Funds, Preparing NAV Reports, client on boarding, ensuring the records are accurate and that taxes are paid properly and on time

Preparing Management accounts for external clients

Acting as tax agents for Singapore companies and Providing tax advice as required.

The advantage at our firm is that we work in flexible, friendly office with regular hours, low amounts of overtime and in a very central location. You will be given more responsibility and control over your managed companies than in normal accounting office.

Responsibilities:
For 1:
VCC/Fund experience, liaising with MAS and compiling Annex and related information.

Interested in helping grow business and explore new areas such as VCC, 13U/13O Application

Willing to do non-accounting work such as regulatory filing and establishing funds. On-boarding clients, assisting in Prospectus preparation, liaison with and management of service partners

Funds accounting for the Fund itself and general accounting for each of the investments/investment holding companies within a structure

Knowledge of PAXUS software & previous tax experience is beneficial

For 2:
Manage all accounting transactions for SPV's, simple funds

Publish financial statements on time

Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings

Reconcile accounts payable and receivable

Ensure timely bank payments

Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements

Report on the company's financial health and liquidity

Reinforce financial data confidentiality

Comply with financial policies and regulations

Review other accountant's financial reports

Track work schedule and manage deliveries of other team members

Provide guidance as to correct GAAP and reporting (IFRS)

Keep up to date on GAAP/IFRS and changes in Government filing requirements

Qualification

Bsc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree

Specifically in regards to Family Office Advisory Skillset

CPA/ACCA or its equivalent

Strong knowledge of tax considerations for Ultra High Net Worth with global and cross-border exposures

License - MAS

Hands-on experience of 13X/R schemes, from a legal or (tax) accountant perspective

Passionate interest in Wealth Management - consistent with Family Office Advisory Needs - Wealth Planner, Philanthropy, Governance, etc.

Working relationship with Industry Groups / Governmental bodies (i.e. MAS)

Excellent knowledge of GAAP (IFRS)

Experience in Big 4 or similar preferred. Or prior experience managing in an Accounting Service Provider

A self-starter who is able to plan, organise and take initiative to meet job objectives and deadlines independently

Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures

Fund Experience is a plus

Hands-on experience with accounting software like QuickBooks

Well-versed in MS Office, especially MS Excel and Word

Experience with general ledger functions

Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
