SAP Basis Consultant

**Role: SAP Basis - L2 Consultant**

**Deployment Team : 3 Headcount**

**Work Location: Central Area ( Serangoon North) with possible WFH
**Migration Project -**

**Primary support hours**:Monday to Friday from 0800h to 1800h SGT, Weekend & PH will be off

**Working Hours**:44hrs/ week excluding lunch breaks

In addition, the contractor shall provide 24x7 on-call support.

Saturday / Sunday / Public Holiday support will be as directed by team leader and / or project manager to fulfil the services without impacting the business.

**Detailed Job Scope**:
The resource will be part of a team who will be performing the following:
Deploy minimum of three (3) SAP Basis resources to provide SAP Basis support for the in-scope systems.
- Migration of Nauticus SAP System from Sparc/Solaris to new hardware x86/RHEL
- Migration of Nauticus Windows Components to New upgraded windows Operating system
- Perform Daily BAU Activities and to provide on call support including weekends.
- Perform SAP and Oracle DB Performance analysis and tuning.

SAP Basis resource shall possess the minimum skills and qualification for the following:
Able to show experience in using SAP Tools such as SUM, SWPM, Solution Manager setup.

Should know SAP / Oracle migration with tools such as SAP tool Heterogenous Migration / Oracle Transportable tablespaces.

install SAP System (ECC, Solution Manager)

perform a homogenous / heterogenous SAP migration.

perform an Enhancement Pack or Service Pack upgrade.

Incident Troubleshooting and Rectification of Basis & Database issues

perform / support oracle upgrade.

incident troubleshooting and rectification of SAP Basis and Database issues

SAP performance monitoring, tuning and analysis.

SAP transport management

SAP and database housekeeping tasks

SAP Client Copy and Database Refresh

SAP Basis parameter and technical configuration

SAP Marketplace administration (SAP OSS incidents, connection, licenses, key registration, system data, etc)

Backup and Recovery Tests

SAP role creation/Maintenance

SAP Printer Configurations

SAP Job scheduling & Monitoring.

High Availability Tests

Unix Script & Windows Batch creation /Modification

Interface / SFTP communication troubleshooting and supporting.

SAP Crystal Report & BI Server Administration, Monitoring, Patching

Open Text Archive Server Administration, Repository Creation, Monitoring

Tectia SFTP Server Administration & Monitoring

During the on-call support period should response quickly for any issues/alerts reported

Support Priority incident via call /Customer facing/Meetings.

Support for the Monthly infrastructure activities (Windows server OS patching, Firewall switch upgrade etc.)

Review and recommend for the Application Vulnerability scanning reports.

Participate in Duty Support Roster as directed by technical leader and / or Project Manager

Perform additional related tasks as directed by the technical leader and / or project manager.

Should be able to provide on call support including weekends.

Additional SAP Basis resource qualifications**:
Must have at least five years SAP R/3 expertise as a Basis Consultant

Must have performed three SAP implementations gaining experience in the ‘real world’ of business process.

Must have strong consultancy and client facing skills.

Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.

Must be able to work as a team player whilst maintaining ability for autonomous accountability.
