**Land Logistics Specialist, SEA**:

- Location: Singapore, SG- Country/Region: SG- Job Area: Logistics- Business Unit: RP Logistics & Operations**Position Summary**:

- **The Land Logistics Specialist is responsible for Neste’s land logistics in SEA markets, improving the efficiency in non-bulk unitized modes of transportations e.g. containers, trucks. The Land Logistics Specialist drives the operational land logistics service providers KPIs of 3PLs (ISO containers, flexi bags, trucks, IBCs).**

**This Specialist will need to build on his/her existing relationship in the market of logistics service producers, having a strong background in non-bulk liquid unitized logistics. This role must ensure seamless integration of supply and supply operations. Responsibilities include successful development of unitized multimodal logistics and land logistics in the region. The Land Logistics Specialist will play a key role in improving Neste’s SEA land logistics along with bringing in-depth knowledge and experience of land logistics markets in the region. The Land Logistics Specialist reports to the Team Manager, Land Logistics APAC.**

**Responsibilities**:

- **Work as part of the Logistics unit to significantly improve Neste’s land logistics in the South East Asia.**
- **Deployment of new logistics service providers, e.g. 3PL:s (ISO containers, flexi bags, trucks, IBCs)**
- **Develop and manage relationships with service providers.**
- **Manage performance management of the service providers.**
- **Work to optimize the logistics operations.**
- **Continuous safety walks at terminals and other relevant logistics service providers.**
- **Understand and communicate cost-to-serve in various land logistics modes.**
- **Liaise and collaborate with multiple internal business units locally and globally including Supply, Trading and Operations.**
- **Keep up-to-date knowledge of Industry Standards/General Terms and Conditions for relevant products.**

**Qualifications**:

- **Relevant university degree and/or minimum 3-5 years of experience in logistics for this industry (including tallow and greases) such as terminals, relevant 3PL:s (ISO containers, flexi bags, trucks, IBCs)**
- **Experience in managing external service providers, setting and managing agreed KPI:s.**
- **Experience in sourcing, operating and managing 3PL:s, handling liquid non-bulk.**
- **Proven track record of success in this field and deep understanding of logistics processes required in this environment.**
- **Good understanding of future trends in logistics and analytical thinking.**
- **Strong interpersonal skills and ability and willingness to work in intercultural environment**
- **Strong stress tolerance and confidence needed to define and, if needed, defend strategic ideas.**
- **Hands-on Specialist able to utilize his/her knowledge and experience to build a successful logistics model for this developing business.
