**HIRING FOR**:
**WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT**

**- THE WINE DISTRIBUTION CO.
You will be part of a tight, close-knit warehouse team that manages the daily operational warehouse functions for **THE WINE DISTRIBUTION CO. (TWDC) **.

Together as a team, you will support the Warehouse & Logistics Manager in ensuring proper maintenance of warehouse inventory, updating of shipment records, ordering of required items and ensuring accurate information is put on record.
- Safe movement or inventory and materials across facilities; sorting, organizing and storing of inventory in proper locations
- Picking, packing and labeling of items correctly, ensuring accurate processing of inventory for delivery
- Removing inventory from trucks / shipment delivery for stocking or delivery to proper locations
- Checking of delivered items to ensure quality / quantity is correct
- Reporting of any possible damaged or missing inventory to direct Supervisor
- Stacking and organizing of large / bulky items using proper machinery where required
- Updating of logs and documentation for inventory processing
- Generation of Purchase Orders / Delivery Orders, and due follow-up tasks
- Maintenance of good housekeeping in warehouse and retail spaces
- Ensure workplace is free of debris and removal of safety hazards from aisles
- Adhere to safe operating procedures and workplace safety at all times
- Assist is preparation of documentation and inventory for audits
- Any other skill-development or ad-hoc tasks as assigned

**Job Requirements**:

- Prior related experience in a warehouse environment will be advantageous but not necessary as training and guidance will be provided
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced, yet fun environment
- Great communication skills with positive, interpersonal skills
- A team player with a good sense of job responsibility and a keen eye for details
- Honest willingness to learn and grow with the Company
- Willing to work 5.5 days a week; 9:00am - 6:00pm on weekdays, and 9:00am - 1:00pm on Saturday or Sunday
