Assistant Design Merchandiser

Overall Job Objectives:
Responsible for supporting the design & merchandising team who manage the sourcing and design of apparel and accessories. Once order is confirmed, to assist to follow up on bulk production process through product and sampling management.

Merchandising
- Work closely with Technician team to understand paper pattern, sketch and sampling requirements in order to produce the right samples.
- Work closely with Design Merchandiser on the daily follow-up starting with Supplier and subsequently with Customer
- Liase closely and daily with the customers and supplier counterparts across the globe in Asia and Europe

Design
- Keep up to date on design trends and fabric and accessories
- Will be working closely with Design Merchandisers to prepare new collection designs, compile mood boards, trend and comp shop reports.

Job Specifications
- Min Diploma in Apparel Design or Apparel Merchandising
- 1-3 years working experience
- Fluent in Adobe Photo Shop and Illustrator for Garment CAD drawings, 3D CAD is preferred
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin and details oriented
