We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a **Product Owner**.

**Principal Responsibilities**

Role Purpose

Product Owner owns product from a business process perspective, has proven ability to understand in-depth nuances of business processes and customer behaviour, and can create technology product-based solutions. You will be responsible for creating and building world-class cross-border business solutions, supporting a portfolio of products, and adding sustainable value to the business.

The Platforms Product Owner owns and defines the end to end customer journey for their assigned domain. They are blessed with the unique abilities of being able to translate our business objectives into digital capabilities, while at the same time understanding and contributing to the technical solutioning around it. Together with the Customer Experience and Design team, they produce best in class experiences for our customers being engaged via our partners.
- Accountable for making and keeping the product successful - ensure that it offers a strong value proposition to the customers and users and that it creates the desired business benefits
- Responsible for delivering value to the business, and engaging with the customer to ensure the team is building the correct product
- Responsible for the product vision of what is to be built, and conveying that vision to the technology team
- Responsible for leading the design of larger user stories (epics) which can be further broken down into smaller stories (product backlog). Able to form a prioritised feature list for the product which is used by the Technology Team to develop solutions
- Be aware of related industry trends, distilling this knowledge and sharing it with the wider team
- Manage promotion and communication of product to the wider organisation
- Interact with and fully understand customers and their needs
- Collaborate with the team to showcase product to stakeholders

Requirements

**Requirements**:

- At least 8 years’ of experience on digital transformation projects within dual matrix organizations, with ideally 5 years’ experience in the Digital Finance Space
- Good understanding of the commercial banking business and the products it offers
- Aware of the various developments going on in the Embedded Finance space
- Practitioner of Agile Development
- Adaptable and flexible approach, with the ability to respond quickly to changing priorities
- Ability to coordinate and control a wide range of activities and make decisions independently
- Strong stakeholder management skills through effective communication, presentation and influencing
- Strong project management skill with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, on scope and on specifications, including prioritization and requirements alignment across competing demands as Product Owner
- Unique blend of business and technological know how
