**The Challenges**
- Work closely with and provide support to Chief Clinical Informatics Officer (CCIO), Assistant CCIOs, Deputy Director and end-users to oversee the administration, project management and governance, as well as change management plans required for Next Generation Electronic Medical Records (NGEMR) maintenance.
- Responsible in driving the hospital informatics strategic roadmap through the intelligent use of health informatics, and facilitating the optimal delivery of patient care.
- Manage and review change processes, policies and standards arising from EMR implementation.
- Oversee the provision of user access to the hospital information systems, in terms of suitability, eligibility and accountability.
- Responsible for directing, planning, coordinating and administering the hospital’s health information service. Responsible for supervising and managing the department operations to provide services that meet medical, administrative, legal, ethical, regulatory and hospital requirements. This includes the medical records system, the clinical coding functions and supporting clinical data quality work.
- Work with relevant teams at the institution, cluster and national level to ensure that the institution’s data always remains secure, to minimize the risk of data breaches or Cybersecurity incidents.
**The Requirements**
- Able to engage across all levels of the system
- At least 10 years of relevant working experience, preferably in a healthcare setting, and with IT, clinical or healthcare informatics experience
- Experience in leading a team is a must
- Creative, highly-motivated and results-oriented
- Excellent written and communication skill
- Excellent organisational, leadership and people management skills
