Shipwright Supervisor

**Responsibility**
- Lifting Supervisors appointed for tower or mobile cranes at the worksites must complete the Lifting Supervisors Safety Course conducted by an accredited training provided. They must also have relevant experience in lifting operations for at least one year.
- Coordinating and supervising all lifting activities in accordance with the lifting plan
- Briefing all lifting team members (i.e. Crane Operators, Riggers, and signalmen) on the lifting plan, risk control measure and safe lifting procedures before the commencement of any lifting operation
- Ensuring that only registered crane operators, appointed riggers and appointed signalmen participate in any lifting operation involving the use of mobile and tower cranes
- Ensuring that the ground conditions are safe for any lifting operation to be performed by mobile cranes
- Be present during all lifting operations
- To take suitable measures when unsafe conditions are reported. Also, to rectify the conditions so that the lifting operation can be conducted safely
- Contribute to and execution of Risk Assessment, Job Safety Analysis, Safety Procedures/Check Lists, safety records and Documentation
- Safety Lifting Planning, Audits, Inspection, Updated and Training.
- Daily Safety Audit on all lifting Equipment, Gears and Devices including, Prior to Lifting, Checks on Capacity of Lifting Equipment, Gears, Devices, Grounds, Surrounding, Overhead Obstructions, Weather Condition.
- Raise Technical Query (TQ) for material substitution and non-approved vendor acceptance
- Raise Job Confirmation Sheet for redundant materials found in MTO revision
- Prepare material offcut list based on MTO quantity and cross check with site offcut list from supervisor

**Job Requirements**
- ITE/Diploma with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Engineering, Construction, project management in the Oil and Gas, Marine Industry
- Experience in heavy lifting activities in Marine/Construction sector
- Excellent written and good communicative skills, able to interact with people of all levels and teamwork
- Obtained Lifting Supervisor and work height Certificate
