The mission of the Facebook Risk and Payments team is to serve our global community by providing payment support and protecting individuals and businesses against financial abuse.
We are expanding the Risk Operations in our core locations in Texas and Singapore and looking for a qualified person to join the newly established Risk Escalation Desk (RED) Team as Escalation Analyst.

Within the Risk and Payments team, Risk Escalation Desk (RED) analysts are responsible for triage, investigations and resolution of payment-related escalations covering a broad range of of Meta products.

The RED Team work closely with Fraud Investigators and Technical Analysts across the Risk Operations, supporting the efforts to combat payment fraud and protect Meta’s revenue; they make use of monitoring and alerting systems to resolve issues faced by Meta’s users while collecting, analyzing and sharing insights on fraud trends and performance of the escalation workflows and contribute to improvements of Meta’s enforcement frameworks for detection and prevention of payment abuse.

This role is based in Singapore.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Triage, prioritize, investigate and remediate reported escalations across multiple channels by a wide range of stakeholders, covering multiple Meta products (i.e Ads, Charitable Donations etc.), and respond to inquiries with high-quality, speed and accuracy
- Record and clearly articulate operational decisions, ensuring compliance with the Risk Ops policies and procedures
- Identify and navigate gray areas in enforcement policies and gaps in processes, and use their understanding and sound judgment to resolve those issues
- Partner with other Risk Ops Teams to improve enforcement, quality, reporting and tooling for combating payments abuse and improving user experience
- Remain up to date on key workflow changes, operational guidelines, policy updates
- Contribute to developing and implementing scalable solutions to support Meta’s global fraud prevention and remediation processes
- Please note that some weekend and holiday work will be required on a shift basis

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of experience in online operations or online escalations environment in a large multinational context
- Skilled at using tools like SQL and Excel to drive analytics and reporting
- Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines/SLAs
- Ability to communicate to a variety of audiences

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience
- Exposure to online payments and/or fraud management
- Cross-functional and partnership building skills
- Experience working with senior-level stakeholders
