**Key accountabilities**:

- iXchange Medical partner - perform medical review for iXchange clients, including pre-authorization, determination of medical necessity, bill adjudication and case negotiation.
- Medical information and enquiries - critically appraise relevant datapoints (may include clinical notes, peer-reviewed guidelines and coverage policies) to provide expertise that balances the considerations of all parties (patient, payer and provider)
- Medical Liaison - propose action plans and facilitate timely and mutually beneficial case resolution
- Digital Health projects - collaborate and develop solutions that facilitate business operational efficiencies and increase customers’ engagement.
- Clinical Marketing - guide and contribute to Marketing online and offline initiatives.
- Business-to-business partnership - collaborate with iXchange/Central Commercial team for business partnership, including but not limited to insurance payers, corporate clients.
- Medical Training - oversee learning and development on medical technicalities for iXchange and Parkway Service Centre
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by superiors.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Medical degree (need not be registrable with SMC)
- At least 5 years of working experience in healthcare industry, with at least 2 years working as medical doctor in tertiary hospital; experience with insurance/TPA (third-party administrators) will be an advantage.
- Understanding of Singapore healthcare system; experience in surgical coding and billing would be an advantage.
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication skills in English; other languages expertise as added advantage.
- Good interpersonal skills with service-oriented attributes.
- Analytical minded, able to think ‘outside-the-box’ for issues management, performance driven, highly organised with ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment.
