**Role**
**Responsibilities**:
- Track, monitor and provide assessment of tech and data policy issues and their implications to SHEIN’s commercial interests
- Develop and provide recommendations to senior management and relevant business units concerning tech and data policy issues
- Identify and map key policy stakeholders (including political office holders, government officials, regulators, international organisations, non-governmental organisations and industry associations) in focus markets relevant to tech and data policy issues
- Develop and drive engagement strategies to reach out and build strategic relationships with key stakeholders on tech and data policy issues
- Formulate and execute advocacy plans to translate policy engagements into tangible commercial outcomes
- Develop and drive strategic communications plans related to tech and data issues in support of company’s overall policy positioning and profiling
- Organise and manage meetings with external parties related to tech and data issues, including the preparation of briefing notes/presentations for senior management’s reference
- Lead in the planning, organisation and management of networking platforms relevant to tech and data issues
**Requirements**:
- Degree in International Relations, Political Science, Global Studies, Law, Economics or related field
- At least 8 years of working experience in government relations or public policy relevant to tech and data issues, with prior experience in a tech company an advantage
- Experience in policy research, development and analysis related to tech and data issues
- Strong global policy and regulatory network related to tech and data issues, with a demonstrated ability to effectively and comfortably interact at the highest corporate/political levels to undertake advocacy work
- Track record of effectively solving complex issues and delivering strong results while maintaining the highest standards
- Keen interest to translate policy/regulatory engagements into tangible commercial outcomes
- Exposure to strategy work within a government agency or corporate would be advantageous
- Strong analytical, presentation (written and oral) and project management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task and have exceptional attention to detail while operating in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
