**MAIN PURPOSE**

This position receives, stores, and distributes materials, equipment, and products within the Richemont Distribution Centre.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Responsible for receiving, unpacking and putting away of inbound shipments.
- Reads customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed or shipped.
- Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Operate materials handling equipment (MHE) to transfer, put away and pick products to and from the storage locations.
- Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or relocates orders to a holding area for packing.
- Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program.
- Assists in counting of physical inventory and arrange stocks in specified sequence.
- Weighs or counts items for distribution within the warehouse to ensure conformance to company standards.
- Perform value added services on products such as labeling, recording serial numbers and repacking before shipment.
- Keeps warehouse and work area clean and organized at all times
- Carries out ad-hoc maintenance duties as required.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Completed at least Secondary School
- One to three years of related experience and/or training
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Experience in SAP and operating material handling equipment (MHE) is an added advantage
