Tasks

**Main tasks for an SW trouble shooting expert are**:

- Analyzing SW issues from stakeholders(customer, Conti internal customer)
- Reproduce the SW issue on SW test bench and measure the logs
- Debugging and tracing SW code base on the measured logs and the knowledge of the SW function, architecture and HW design
- Find root causes and provide the solutions
- Following the full SW development process (requirements / design / coding / testing)

**Responsibilities**:

- analyze and understand the issue coming from SW development team, test team, customer
- set up the environment of reproducing the issues with support from project team
- perform debugging and tracing the issues and recode logs into documents
- trouble shooting should be compliant with Continental process including activities like: software design, requirement implementation, modules specification and test, documentation, reviews and test reports;
- find a root cause and provide solutions
- be an active member of an agile development team (SAFe organization, SCRUM);
A mentor will support you to step wise take over own responsibility after an initial training phase which will familiarize you with our products, tools, processes and organization.

**Qualifications**:

- University Degree (Electronics, Computer science or equivalent);
- Advanced embedded C programming, C Coding Guidelines (MISRA standards), good understanding of Micro-controller & Hardware Basics;
- Experience in development of components for embedded system (SDLC-SW development life cycle, Agile development process, Continuous Integration/testing;)
- Good knowledge in areas: linux, autosar
- Technology: Multi core, CAN, LIN, ETH, UDS, SPI, I2C, eMMC, LPDDR, NOR flash.
- Programming areas: communication stack/protocol, real time systems, possible SW components integration; low level drivers; hardware abstraction;
- Specific tools: flashing tools, diagnosis tools, Scripting (batch, Pyton, Perl, etc), CANoe, JTAG debugger, Jira, Git, XML;
- Any Configuration/Change Management Tool;
- Good Debugging and Problem-Solving Skills;
- Good Understanding of Scrum/Kanban Methodology;
- Ability to Learn Quickly & Good Communication Skill;
- Advanced English writing and speaking skills;
