**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Care Delivery**
- Assist with personal care tasks, and activities of daily living (“ADLs”) such as showering, toileting, brushing of teeth and cleaning of dentures, lifting, transferring and positioning of client, filing of nails, assisting with oral, and NGT or PEG tube feeding.
- Assist with instrumental activities of daily living (“IADLs”), including light housekeeping and laundry, assistance with medication and simple errands such as grocery shopping.
- Provide companionship and engage in mind-stimulating, recreational and leisure activities with client
- Performing simple maintenance exercises as prescribed by a registered therapist.
- Provide medical escort services for clients who need to attend medical appointments.
- Complete comprehensive and concise visit reports to ensure proper documentation.
**Care Supervision**
- Provide guidance to care associates during service delivery to ensure that service is delivered in a safe and proper manner.
- Conduct spot-checks/audits on care associates to ensure that services standards are maintained.
- Any other duties (including administrative duties) as assigned by reporting officer.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Preferably GCE O-Level or with an HMI Certificate in Healthcare support (Nursing) or equivalent.
**EXPERIENCE**
- At least 3 years of working experience as care staff in the home care setting
**SKILLS**
- Able to use local languages and dialects.
- Must be client-oriented, self-directed, independent yet able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and have good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Have a valid Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certification.
- Able to complete visit reports.
**WORKING HOURS**
- 5.5 days work week (rostered on weekends/PH).
