**Job Description**:
We are seeking a highly experienced and talented Development Engineer to join our Research and Development team in the finance sector. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing innovative software solutions for quantitative strategy development and hedging.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and understand software requirements for quantitative strategy development and hedging in the finance domain.
- Utilize your extensive knowledge of Python to write efficient, scalable, and maintainable code.
- Work with databases including MySQL,Redis, and MongoDB to store and retrieve data required for financial analysis and modelling.
- Participate in code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to the continuous enhancement of coding standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts and researchers to implement and optimize mathematical models and algorithms for financial strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in software development methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the development team, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional growth.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 9+ years of professional experience in software development, preferably in the R&D sector.
- Strong expertise in quantitative strategy development and hedging within the finance industry.
- Proficiency in web frameworks such as Django, Flask, and Tornado.
- Solid understanding of relational databases (MySQL), NoSQL databases (MongoDB), and in-memory data stores (Redis).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies, particularly Docker.
- Proven ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience mentoring and guiding junior team members is a plus.
