For our office in **Singapore **we are looking for an

**Investment Manager (f/m/d) Clean Energy APAC**
**Your responsibilities**
- Reporting to the regional Head of Investment & Development to support the expansion of Aquila's renewable energy business in the APAC region
- Develop, structure and implement funding solutions for greenfield and brownfield equity investments in renewable energy assets (equity, mezzanine and senior debt)
- With a profound understanding of complex financial structures, work closely with senior members of the Investment team in the development of the investment strategy
- Negotiate project related (senior) debt packages with banks and financial investors (institutional investors)
- Closely liaise with head office on project related equity funding solutions including using existing Luxemburg regulated funds
- Support the establishment of equity funding solutions within the APAC region
- Independent creation, testing and further development of integrated financial models in the modelling language FAST Standard at the asset and holding structure levels of the Group
- Creation of profitability analyses, profitability calculations, sensitivity analyses and stress tests
- Active involvement in the analysis of acquisition and due diligence documentation as well as support in the preparation of internal and external documents (external bids, decision documents, business cases, financial reports and prospectuses)
- Build a robust network with internal stakeholders (e.g. risk, legal, tax & accounting) to ensure successful investment execution
- Work with local partners and service providers to assist with the management of ongoing project development activities

**Your qualifications**
- University degree ideally with a focus on Business, Economics and / or Corporate Finance
- 5 - 7 years of relevant debt and equity investment experience with an alternative asset manager, or investment management firm
- Ability to negotiate with banks and financial institutions from varying cultural backgrounds (European, Asian, Australian)
- In-depth knowledge of equity funding structures of a European based asset manager including funding products such as bearer bonds
- Profound knowledge of investment regulations under Luxemburg law
- Sound understanding of financial models and the ability to use them to present simplified results of complex analytical and financial analysis both verbally and in written form to decision makers
- Existing network to debt and equity providers including development funding institutions and export credit agencies
- Willingness to take ownership for allocated areas of responsibility and eagerness to grow over time
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- Precise and reliable working methods coupled with a high degree of independence, implementation strength and flexibility
- Demonstrate a passion for renewable energies and sustainability
- Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of a programming language or capital market platforms (e.g. Reuters, Bloomberg) is a plus
- Fluency in English is mandatory and full business command of German is a strong advantage, additional knowledge of Korean, Japanese or Mandarin is a plus
