**Roles & Responsibilities**

Our Client is a global leader for connecting job seekers to meaningful careers. The local team is dedicated to giving job seekers the information, advice and support that will help them on the path to successful employment. They are looking for **Career Consultant** to join their team.

THE ROLE

This is a vital role within the team, you will build great links with job seekers, champion job opportunities and support managing transitions into work with potential employers. You will also develop coaching conversations with your job seekers to help them gain career clarity and introduce career related activities that leads them into market readiness. Matching the needs of employers with job seekers' skill sets and experiences, you will develop employer relations that facilitate the transition and ensure that all needs are met.
- Passionate about helping Singaporeans to raise their employability and advocating continuous skills/professional development through various government initiatives.
- A team player, with good interpersonal skills, specifically around building rapport, listening, questioning, influencing skills to enable, build and maintain effective relationships.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal at professional levels) as well as interpersonal skills.
- Fast learner who can adapt to a fast-changing environment and is willing to try new things.
- Experienced and believe in people development and have managed a variety of profiles through coaching and mentoring skills
- Experienced in and with evidence of successful support of and case management of people with a variety of complex needs.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline. An additional professional certification in Human Resources, Human Capital is advantageous but not mandatory
- A recognised training and certification in either career advisory, facilitation, and coaching would be preferrred.
- Minimum 3 years’ prior and relevant experience in human resource, recruitment, talent acquisition and/or in career counselling roles would be preferred.
