DESIGNATION : Research Scientist (1-year contract), SCIS
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review and distill state-of-the-art methods in literature;
- Conduct original research to develop new algorithms and/or improve existing ones;
- Implement the research prototypes and baseline methods;
- Perform experiments to validate the proposed algorithms;
- Documentation of the research and results including academic publication.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum PhD degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or closely related disciplines from an institution of higher learning
- Minimum 1 years of relevant research experience in data mining or machine learning
- Good research publication records in top conferences/journals, especially in machine learning/AI/data mining areas
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python is required
- Proficiency in deep learning stack such as Pytorch or tensorflow is required
- Excellent working knowledge of machine learning and deep learning including graph neural networks
- Good analytical, technical and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated individual who can work independently and also collaboratively with team members
