**Responsibilities**:

- **Training and Curriculum Development**:Design and deliver training programs for special needs adults, focusing on areas such as arts, mindfulness, emotional regulation, and work preparation.
- **Individualised Approach**:Tailor training sessions to meet the diverse needs, strengths, and interests of each participant.
- **Skill Enhancement**:Foster the development of cognitive, social, vocational, and emotional skills among special needs adults through engaging and interactive sessions.
- **Collaboration**:Work collaboratively with caregivers to understand participants' needs, provide progress updates, and incorporate home-based strategies for skill reinforcement.
- **Training Trainer**:Train and mentor other trainers interested in specialising in special needs education, sharing expertise and best practices.
- **Assessment and Progress Monitoring**:Evaluate participants' progress and adapt training techniques to optimize learning outcomes.
- **Inclusive Environment**:Create an inclusive and supportive environment where participants feel empowered and valued.
- **Resource Development**:Develop resources, materials, and tools to enhance the training experience for special needs adults and trainers.
- **Professional Development**:Stay updated with the latest research, methodologies, and trends in special needs education to continuously improve training approaches.
- **Documentation**:Maintain accurate records of training sessions, progress reports, and individualized plans.
- **Communication**:Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, caregivers, and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive care and support for participants.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Proven experience working with special needs adults.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with caregivers and team members.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for enhancing the lives of special needs adults.
- Knowledge of various teaching strategies and techniques tailored to diverse learning needs.
- Experience in training and mentoring other educators is an asset.
- Creative thinking and adaptability to design engaging and effective training programs.
- Familiarity with assessment tools and methods to track participants' progress.
