Singapore- Wealth Management- PermanentThis position is an exceptional opportunity for an applicant with a strong background in operations and middle office within custody or investment management. A good working knowledge of asset manager service providers, such as custody support and data providers, would be very useful in this position. This is a hands-on leadership role, where you will be managing a small Middle Office team, but required to give direct hands-on support.

This role will have specific responsibilities around delivering, monitoring and improving the integrity and efficiency of all operational processes covering Reconciliation, Retained Trade Operations, Corporate Actions, Derivative Operations and Regulatory reporting.

**Key Deliverables**:

- Lead team members through day-to-day production and coaching. To be hands-on and involved in operational processes when required.
- Responsible for providing accurate & timely corporate action services to investment teams and stakeholders.
- Supporting corporate activity through the event life cycle, with a diligent focus on risk management and control.
- Collaborating with the other teams to solve operational problems and work on the development and continuous improvement of process flows and related operational tools
- Identifying and mitigating/eliminating existing inefficiencies, operational issues and risks
- Continue to develop automation and efficiency initiatives to provide a scalable platform
- Implementing quality assurance and manpower optimisation measures/ tools to improve monitoring

**Ideal Prior Knowledge**:

- Knowledge of different investment types
- Ideally 8-10 years’ work experience with demonstrated expertise across Middle Office functions including trade support, collateral management, corporate actions, securities valuation and reconciliation.
- Deep knowledge and understanding of functions and roles performed by Service Providers and main participants in the Asset Management Industry including Middle Office providers, Fund Administrators, Custodians, Prime Brokers, Broker Dealers.
- Experience working with Service Providers - either overseeing the provider from the Investment Management side, or working for the Service Provider.

The salary for this position is somewhat open for the best applicant, but we expect in the range of $8-11k SGD pm, or circa $90-125k SGD pa. There is also a consistent annual bonus on offer.
