**Requirements**:

- Diploma/Degree holders with relevant certificates and experience
- Preferably with Shipyard/Marine/Oil & Gas experience & knowledge
- Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and lead a team for maintenance and overhauling jobs, including mechanical, diesel and air-conditioning onboard vessels or in workshop
- Conduct troubleshooting of defects on mechanical system and equipment onboard vessels
- Conduct Acceptance tests or trials on overhauled or repaired equipment
- Plan and coordinate with customers and suppliers on works to be carried out
- Prepare, coordinate and monitor work schedule
- Manage daily manpower deployment
- Perform site inspection and work discussion
- Provide logistic support e.g indent of spares and follow up
- Responsible to study drawings, vendor documents, quality and safety procedures and executes supervision very efficiently.
- Close coordination with Engineer / Supervisor / subcontractor for manpower, equipment and resources sufficiency.
- Report on weekly schedule completions and set progress figure to be achieved.
- Prepare lifting plans and give advance notice for material requirements and resources.
- Plan weekly progress and record the percentage achieved.
- Obtain hot-work permit and entry into confirmed space permits or any other work permit system.
- Work closely with other HOD on project related issues for easy work coordination & execution.
- Any other tasks and responsibilities assigned from time to time by reporting officer.
- Ensure preservation of equipment are carried out as per project requirements.
- Ensure equipment installation and alignment as per project requirements.
- Assist Engineer Mechanical in coordinating and supervising maintenance /
- overhauling jobs
- Prepare Job Acceptance on completion of Jobs
- Supervise mechanical works
- Liaise with customers and contractors on works to be carried out
- Arrange for inspection / job acceptance.
